The field is finally free of snow once more. The cold snap damaged some daylily shoots but the majority are fine. And in fact even the damaged shoots will grow out and recover.

 

 

 

It's hard to imagine that in just 100 or so days the field will be full of flowers and lush growth!

 

 

 

Most daylilies in the field look like this. But some, particularly near the house have wilting tips. The warmth from the house coupled with the early warm weather stimulated early growth, which was damaged and wilted after the last cold snap.
